Kang In is just 17 years old, but has already attracted plenty of attention in Spain and beyond. The 2018/19 season has been his breakthrough campaign, in which he has made his first appearances in domestic competition for Valencia CF.
His debut for the club came in the Copa del Rey on October 30th, 2018, against CD Ebro, as he featured from the start against the lower league opposition.
Just a couple of months later, he featured in LaLiga for the first time. When he came on as an 86th minute substitute against Real Valladolid on January 12th, 2019, he became both the youngest foreign debutant for Valencia CF and the youngest South Korean player to appear in a European league.
Kang in has already played 8 games for the first team, of which he is now a permanent part after his official registration on January 30th.
